DIY Relaxing, Healing, Herbal Baths



When do you have the most relaxing time except on the bed?

I assume most of you might say "Bath."Here is an Easy tip to have a relaxing bath on your own. Here is the our menu and products. Kitchen Magic Original Herb 5g ( Eucalyptus , Bay leaves Marjoram etc...) can be used your herbal bath as well as your meditation time!




Rose

Rose petals and rose hips are high in antioxidants. Antioxidants help to ward off harmful free radicals and promote cellular health within the body.


Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is known for its ability to clear nasal passages. It also relieves joint pain and sore muscles.


Lavender

This herb has always been known for its healing powers. It's relaxing, stress-reducing, uplifting, and eases headaches.


Sage

Sage is stimulating, cleansing, astringent, and has antiseptic properties.


Bey Leaves



Bay leaves contain an oil called "Oleum Lauri," which helps relieve pain and body aches caused by being cold, having an illness, or an injury. Bay leaves also contain "parthenopids," compounds that help relieve aches and pains.


Cosmos

Studies have suggested antioxidant, antimalarial, antibacterial, hepatoprotective, anthelmintic, repellent, phytoremediative properties.


Perilla Leaves


Perilla is used for treating asthma. It is also used for nausea, sunstroke, and to reduce muscle spasms.


Pine Needle

When ingested, pine can be used to treat colds and coughs, reducing phlegm and helping with sinus infections. It is expectant, which means it thins mucus to help you cough and draw phlegm up from the lungs.


How to make it?

  • Select a single herb or a combination of therapeutic herbs for your bath to yield the benefits you desire. Using three or more herbs together gives a more exciting and pleasant fragrance. You can add rose petals to your choice of herbs to further improve the scent.

  • To avoid clogging the drain and messing in the tub, never add loose herbs directly to the bathwater. Place desired seasonings in a bath bag (similar to a giant tea bag) or make an herbal infusion. See instructions below.

  • Your bath mix (most use equal parts of each), in general, uses a total of 3-4 ounces of herb mixture per tub.

  • The bath water should be hot enough to release the herbal essences but not hot enough to burn your skin.

  • If desired, place a small pillow behind your head. Lie back and relax in the tub for 15 to 20 minutes.
