Even with a carefully maintained daily moisturising routine, skin can sometimes feel less smooth than we'd like. When that happens, introducing a little extra care into your regular skincare routine may be worth considering.

This time, we're taking a closer look at Le Gommage N, an exfoliating face mask from Dior's luxury skincare line, Prestige.


Formulated with ingredients derived from the Granville Rose, it features Double Rose Sugar, which gradually transforms into a creamy texture as it is massaged onto the skin.


This is actually my third jar of Le Gommage N. It's one of the skincare products I've continued to return to over the years.

In this review, I'll share my experience of using it over time, what I particularly appreciate about it, and a few things worth considering before making a purchase.

The formula also contains rose extract derived from the Granville Rose, included for its skin-conditioning properties. Beyond exfoliation, it is designed to help refine the skin's texture while maintaining a feeling of hydration.

My Experience: Texture and How My Skin Feels After Rinsing

When I first scoop out Dior Prestige Le Gommage N, the sugar granules give it a noticeably grainy texture.


I apply it to damp skin after cleansing, gently spreading it across my face while avoiding the eye area. I also work it into the area above my upper lip, using light, circular motions to massage the product into my skin.

As I massage, the sugar granules gradually dissolve, transforming the initially grainy scrub into a smooth, creamy texture. This change in consistency is one of the things I particularly enjoy each time I use it.

After rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water, my skin feels soft and moisturised. The surface feels smoother, and my complexion appears plumper and more supple.


That moisturised feeling after rinsing is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to Le Gommage N.


I particularly enjoy using it as an occasional addition to my regular skincare routine when my skin feels rough or when my makeup doesn't seem to sit quite as smoothly as usual.
