In 2027, a new beachfront destination will arrive in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates: Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Currently under development on Al Marjan Island along the Arabian Gulf, the resort will mark Wynn Resorts’ first beachfront destination. Ahead of its opening, Wynn has now revealed its completed 550-meter shoreline, sheltered lagoon and offshore reef, offering an early glimpse of the waterfront experience taking shape.

A 550-Meter Shoreline and Three Distinct Beach Experiences
Stretching along the Arabian Gulf, the resort’s shoreline extends for approximately 550 meters, including 420 meters of white-sand private beach.
Wynn Beach will feature three distinct environments — Resort Beach, Adult Beach and Enclave Beach — each designed with its own character and atmosphere.
The calm waters of the sheltered lagoon will offer opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, as well as paddleboarding and kayaking.
Along the beach and throughout the pool areas, guests will find chaise lounges and cabanas, while more private bungalows will feature their own plunge pools and butler service.
Designing the Experience Beyond the Shoreline

One of the most interesting aspects of the project lies beyond the beach itself.
A 319-meter engineered reef has been installed offshore, with purpose-built reef units designed to support the development of a marine habitat. According to Wynn, coral and marine life have already begun to establish themselves around the reef, while ospreys are nesting nearby.
The waters off Ras Al Khaimah are also home to 21 diving sites, including natural reefs and shipwrecks. The wider region supports a diverse marine ecosystem that includes dolphins, several species of sea turtle and more than 500 species of fish.
Luxury resorts are often defined by their architecture, interiors, restaurants and service.
At Wynn Al Marjan Island, however, the experience extends beyond the buildings themselves — from the beach and lagoon to the marine environment offshore.
A 70-Storey Resort Tower Rising Above the Arabian Gulf

At the heart of the development will be the 70-storey Resort Tower, designed by Wynn Design & Development.
Rising 352 meters above sea level, the tower is being conceived as a new landmark on the Arabian Gulf, with a palette of bronze and white-gold tones.
The resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, alongside dining, shopping, wellness, entertainment, extensive pool areas and a private beach.
22 Restaurants, Lounges and Bars
Dining will also play a central role in the Wynn Al Marjan Island experience.
The resort is planned to offer 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, ranging from fine dining to more casual concepts, together with a beach club.
Guests will also have access to a five-star spa, designer boutiques, multiple pools, entertainment venues and event spaces.
Enclave: A More Private Experience Above the Resort
The upper levels of the Resort Tower will also be home to Enclave, a more exclusive hospitality concept within Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Designed to offer a quieter and more private experience overlooking the Arabian Gulf, Enclave adds another layer to a resort already conceived as a destination within itself.
Opening in Ras Al Khaimah in 2027

@AL MARJAN ISLAND
While Dubai has long been one of the UAE’s best-known luxury destinations, Ras Al Khaimah is increasingly developing its own identity along the country’s northern coast.
On Al Marjan Island, Wynn Resorts’ first beachfront destination is now beginning to take shape.
From its 550-meter shoreline and sheltered lagoon to its offshore reef, resort tower, dining destinations and extensive leisure facilities, Wynn Al Marjan Island is being designed as more than simply a place to stay.
It is a destination built around the experience of being by the sea.
With its opening scheduled for 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island is one to watch as further details of the resort continue to emerge.
Editor’s Note
Luxury hospitality is not defined by architecture and service alone.
What particularly caught our attention at Wynn Al Marjan Island is the way the resort extends its design beyond the property itself — incorporating the shoreline, lagoon and offshore reef into the overall guest experience.
As Wynn Resorts’ first beachfront destination gradually takes shape ahead of its 2027 opening, we will be watching how the resort — and Ras Al Khaimah itself — continues to evolve as a new luxury destination in the region.
